Introduction
We provide a wide range of high-quality day care services to all children from 9 months to 12 years of age in a safe, secure, and nurturing environment. We provide flexible day-care options that will meet the individual needs of your child and their parents/carers between the hours of 7.30am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday term time and 8.00am – 5.30pm during school holidays. We offer Breakfast club, Playgroup sessions, Full day nursery, Wraparound and After School Club and Holiday Club sessions.
Children have access to a wide range of activities, as well as learning through exploring our loose parts, which encourages the children to use their imagination in play.
Children can access the activities and staff try to offer free flow play as much as possible. We have a daily routine for the children and staff to follow which enables children to settle and know what happens at certain parts of the day. The routine is not rigid, and the child’s interests are priority.
We have sand, water, play dough, creative experiences, mathematics, literacy, small world, construction, problem solving and many more experiences available throughout each day. We are a warm and welcoming setting with our own garden space which is used regularly throughout the day. The children have access to the garden throughout the day. Our garden has areas for water, sand, construction, physical activities such as riding bikes, scooters, a grass area which consists of a climbing frame and wooden trail. The children have the opportunity to grow fruit, vegetables and flowers or plants. We also incorporate experiences for children to explore real life play through our outdoor construction area which includes benches for balancing, balls, mats etc., kitchen area and much more. We also incorporate numbers, shapes, and phonics and real-life pictures in our garden area. The children also can use the school field, trim trail and the school yard.
Through stimulating play, we aim to support and encourage children to develop and learn as individuals in a fun environment. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Standards to plan and assess our children’s progress.
All our staff are professionally qualified and have considerable childcare experience. They are sensitive to the individual needs of each child in their care. They acknowledge that the environment they are in must be full of first-hand experiences for them to grow and develop. The setting is equipped with a wide range of resources and educational equipment which provides the children with a variety of developmental and stimulating activities that are appropriate to their age but will be fun and challenging too.
Wraparound
We provide a wraparound service, either morning or afternoon for children attending the school nursery. Children can either bring a packed lunch. This runs alongside our playgroup provision. Places must be booked in advance. Check out our prices.
Breakfast/After School Club
We offer 30 hours funded places in partnership with Langley School Nursery, the term after your child’s 3rd birthday.
Our staff are highly skilled and motivated, and work together with Langley Nursery staff to give your child the best start to their education.

Breakfast/After School Club
We provide childcare for children attending Langley First School, both before school, 7.30-9am and after school 3.30-6pm. Breakfast is provided and a light snack if attending after school club. Holiday Club
We are closed during the Christmas holidays. Our new opening times during the holidays are 8am – 5.30pm. Half day sessions are 8am – 1pm and 12.30pm – 5.30pm.
